I'll give it a 4-5 for great place to relax, take kids, fish and anything outdoorsy. As far as planning for the LABOR DAY EVENT!! 1 - (neg)5. Lousy planning, 1 way in, 1 Way out. Spent an hour and fifteen minutes in line to get there, moved about 200 yds. Ridiculous and not well thought out. Oh Well, turned the whole family around and went to another park.
Lots of different areas for different activities. Very family friendly. Pet friendly as well.
Only have been here for labor day yearly festival. It's a pretty area with pond. And different activities to do around the park. Was disappointed with labor day festival this year was much smaller than usual even though advertised that it was larger than usual.
Large park with 2 lakes for fishing. Great place if you are a duck or a child. Paddle boat rentals available. There are several walking trails and playgrounds in the park. They also do a haunted trail around Halloween.
My girlfriend and I went there for a walk. Around the big lake is a walking trail that is 1.1miles, that in encircles Northmoreland lake. You can see other walkers, with their dogs. You can also see the local wildfife, geese & ducks. As well as many people fishing. They have public restrooms, and soda machines.
